Yes. There free car parks are available at the Full Motion Simulator location.
At Quadrant Systems it can be considered as challenging for someone who requires wheelchair access.
The Full Motion Simulator has large stairways up to the flight deck. There is no lift.
We regret to say that although wheelchair access may be ok for much of the building it is not possible to gain access to the Full Motion Simulators.
We do not allow video or photos to be taken of the outside of the building, the inside of the building and therefore the outside of the simulator.
You are permitted to take video and photos while inside the simulator.
Any photos or video are to be for personal use.
Should you wish to film or take photos for commercial use, we ask that you discuss with us before your booking as there will be a further fee per hour that would need to be paid.
For those undertaking the course the simulator operator insists on a minimum age of 13 years of age.
For children under 18, an adult must accompany you. There is no additional charge for this.
The student and guardian must be securely strapped in at all times.
We ask that all guests regardless of age remain respectful and well behaved … this is a training facility with professional pilots. We are privileged to be able to be there.
Yes, you can bring people with you.
If the person undertaking the course is under 18 a parent of guardian is required.
The course can be completed as a one to one experience to ensure that you feel your needs are catered to.
If you want to take the course with someone, another member of your family, for example, let us know and we can accommodate for an additional fee of £100 per additional person.
The Full Motion Simulators are used for pilots to train and build up enough hours, knowledge and confidence to fly the real thing.
As such … yes … they match the real thing exactly.
We are privileged to have access to such amazing machines.
Pilots come in all shapes and sizes.
If you are able to travel on a passenger aircraft without issues … you will be fine when it comes to being in the simulators.
The course is 2 hours.
You will have an hour of time in the classroom which is used to discuss your concerns and to cover the various aspects that may be bothering you. We will usually use this time to talk about aviation, the aircraft and the numerous safety measures that are in place before take-off, during flight and on landing.
The second hour will be in the Full Motion Flight Simulator.
When you enter the cockpit it is up to you what we spend the next 60 minutes focussing on. Ask as many questions about the cockpit, the aircraft, weather, the science of aviation or anything else that comes to mind!
Our instructors are all fully qualified pilots. They bring to you a wealth of knowledge and experience, combined 30 years and over 45,000 hours of flight time in the air.
I am afraid we can not promise a particular instructor for your course. It highly depends on their availability: they may well be flying actual aircraft that day!
All of our instructors have a wealth of knowledge and experience and we are confident that you will have an amazing time regardless of who is your co-pilot.
This hasn’t happened to us yet BUT with the pandemic in mind we do ask that you take a cautious approach to deciding if you should or shouldn’t go forward with your experience.
If someone else is with you on the day and you are not able to perform the course, we will allow you to gift it to your friend.
We do not offer refunds after 30 days and will not re-book within a week of the experience date. This is due to needing to book the time slot with our third party which after this point is not refundable to us. As such, if you have arranged your course within the 30 day refund period, it is not applicable.
We offer refunds in the first 30 days of purchase. Even in this circumstance we would charge a £20 fee for the admin involved.
Please keep this in mind if you are gifting this to someone in several months’ time.
If a simulator date has been booked and confirmed within the first 30 days a refund is also not possible.
Most definitely. Any particular scenario that may be bothering you can be acted out in the simulator without leaving the ground!
In these circumstances we would ask you to speak to your doctor first. If they give the thumbs up … we defer to their medical experience.
Generally we go by this … if you can travel in an aeroplane normally, you will be fine in the Full Motion Simulators.
You are responsible for your own well-being though … consult a doctor if you think you will have any issues.
This website is a sister entity to Full Motion Experience. Although the products have their own website and the branding of “Fear Of Flying Course” … your payment, communication and course will be handled by Full Motion Experience.

They have given Full Motion Experience permission to use their £15 million flight simulators, usually reserved for commercial and military pilot training.
We are incredibly pleased to be able to offer experiences in these amazing pieces of flight training. Each simulator is given a rating (Level D) which allows for it to be used for training professional pilots.

For the Fixed Base simulator, although there is not a staircase that will cause an issue … making your way into the cockpit may be difficult as it is a tight space. It would be best for you to assume that if you have problems getting in and out of a normal aircraft you may have difficulty here also.

The Fixed Base Simulator is a replica of the B737 cockpit. Rather than movement the illusion of movement is given using sound effects and visuals.
Full Motion Flight Simulators cost upwards of £15 million to buy and then thousands to maintain.
Fixed Base simulators can cost up to £200k and have much cheaper running costs.
